There were a lot of deaths on Buffy.

From Jenny’s death in Season 2 all the way to the end of the 7th Season when Spike sacrificed himself to save the world, there were a lot of people who’s lives were forfeited to the fight against evil.

Some of them died and came back and some of their deaths were permanent; however, they all impacted the viewers…hard.
